House #7
I'm pretty sure I got this shot on demolition day. It was a quiet early morning when I took the photo, and I loved that the machine was just gently resting on the soon-to-be-razed roof.

Palo Alto House Series
I walk a lot. A lot. I prefer to walk on quiet streets in neighborhoods close to my house, so I see lots of homes while I'm out. I've decided to do a series of posts on the houses on my routes. There are many mid-century moderns, some in disrepair, some restored beautifully. There is also new construction, some homes still under construction, and some slated for demolition. The neighborhoods of Palo Alto are definitely in a state of flux.
Without further ado, my first entry is an Eichler dressed up for 4th of July. Happy Independence Day!

Bubble Car!
Google's newest fleet of tiny self-driving cars hit the streets of Silicon Valley last week. Our new robot overlords are super cute! (In the picture it looks like no one's in the car, but there were, in fact, two passengers.)

LFL #13
After finding LFL #12 on Lassen, I kept going on my walk and stumbled upon Little Free Library #23197 (not on the map) filled with children's books.
